What is the difference between the ShowingTime icon and the ShowingTime button?

You may have noticed that, depending on where you are within Matrix or what type of display you are looking at, you will see either a ShowingTime icon or a button on the screen.  The two are very similar, but they do have a couple of distinctions as well.

The ShowingTime icon , which shows up on the right side of single line displays and above the photo on detailed displays, allows you to schedule an online showing appointment for that one specific listing:

The ShowingTime button , which appears on the bottom of the Single Line display (in the Actions bar) will also allow you to schedule an online showing, provided that you have only selected one listing from the single line display.

However, if you have selected more than one listing in the single line display and then click the ShowingTime button, it allows you to create a ShowingCart for all selected properties.  You can either add the listings to an existing ShowingCart or create a new ShowingCart ( Click here for details on using ShowingCarts).

This process will send the showing request to the list agent for each of the selected listings.

You can access your ShowingCart by logging into ShowingTime.
