Cannot select day/time for showing request (no calendar)

 

If a buyer's agent complains to you that they tried to schedule a showing on your listing through the ShowingTime icon on the MLS but they could not because there is no calendar, you need to go into the listing setup in ShowingTime and change the Appointment Type setting.

You can access ShowingTime either from the icon in the MLS Products section of the SmartMLS Member Dashboard or by clicking ShowingTime in the Tools, Resources & Links widget on the connectMLS homepage or the External Links widget on the Matrix homepage.

 

1. If you are logged into www.smartmls.com, there is an icon in the Featured Products section for ShowingTime:

2. If you are in connectMLS, go to the Tools, Resources & Links widget on the homepage and click ShowingTime:

3. If you are already logged into Matrix, go to the home page, find the External Links widget and click ShowingTime:

After you get into ShowingTime, go to Listing Setup and select the desired listing. 

Go to the Appointment Settings section and make sure the Appointment Type is not set to View Instructions Only:

If it is set to View Instructions Only, there will not be a calendar when a buyer's agent clicks the ShowingTime icon on your listing, so they will not be able to select the date & time they would like to show your listing.
